Prime Minister Hamsa awarded employment and medals to three young people who sacrificed their lives for the community.

Mogadishu, Monday, 12 August 2024:

The Prime Minister of the Government of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mr. Hamsa Abdi Barre, today received in his office three young people who sacrificed their lives to save those injured in the explosion by the Khawarij groups on Lido beach. 

These young people had the courage to carry them on their backs and save the injured people who were on the ground.

The Prime Minister praised these young people for their bravery, describing them as national heroes and role models for Somali youth. He also said that the government always stands by the youths who stand for the defense and salvation of the society, and he encouraged them to continue their efforts.

“You have shown courage in a difficult time and to help your young brothers who were in a difficult situation. You risked your lives and worked for the people. 

In fact, the work they have done has attracted the attention of the entire Somali nation. The DanQaran government will reward you for your courage He deserved a medal and employment.” said Prime Minister Hamsa.

The Prime Minister pointed out that the Federal Government of Somalia and the Somali youth have a close relationship that cannot be politicized, and the government is giving priority to the youth to find jobs and everything they need in their country.

He added that the Somali youth are the backbone of this country, and the government is giving them full support so that they can be the leaders of the Somali nation. 

The youth thanked the Prime Minister for the support and encouragement of the government, promising to continue working for the common good and saving the Somali people.
